Weigh-in # 5 :(

So, this week was not the best week. :( I only lost 1 pound. I seem to keep having a good week followed by a not so good week. Maybe that means next week will be a good week. Unfortunately, I have spent the last several days laying on a heating pad. My back has been hurting this week, and I didn't walk Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. :( I don't know if I pulled a muscle while climbing stairs or what, but OUCH, it has not felt good at all. Today, it has eased up some and I am going to try to get back into my walking routine. Maybe that will actually help it. I was proud of myself today. I subbed at Central, and they have great lunches. Today they had breakfast for lunch, and boy do I love breakfast!!! It was so hard to pass up the chocolate gravy, but I did. I did have a biscuit and sausage, and a handful of tator tots. While I am not too happy with losing just one pound this week, I am looking at the bright side....that makes 24 pounds lost in all!!! YAY!!!

Pat on the Back

I am giving myself a pat on the back today. Today is the first day since school started that I have got to stay at home with no kids. I really wanted to come back home after dropping them off and go back to bed, but I didn't!!! I took my booty to the football field and climbed stairs and walked for an hour. :):) Then, I came home and ate a turkey sandwich for breakfast. I am going to walk again this afternoon too, since I didn't get a chance to walk yesterday. I am on my way to looking FaBuLoUs!!!! While climbing stairs at the stadium a few days ago Christy told me, "Girl, you want it bad!" LOL She is so right!

Weigh-in #4

YAY!!! So HaPpY to post my results this week. I lost 7 pounds!!! That makes the grand total.........23 pounds lost since I began my blog. :):):) Getting closer and closer to the "One-derfuls"!! WoooHooo!!!!

Nail in Foot=Ouch!!!

Yep...I stepped on a nail yesterday which got stuck an inch and half into my heel, and now my heel is so sore I can hardly walk on it. :( I am not going to let a sore heel stop me though. I am getting ready to go walk and climb the stairs in a few minutes. :) Thanks to the fishing hook that got stuck in my finger a few weeks ago I did not have to get another tetanus shot. Today, I want to give a shout out to my walking buddies....Christy, Paula, and Nancy. It is so much more fun exercising with friends! :) You girls are AWESOME!!! Also, thank you for all the kind comments I received at church this morning. You do know how much it means to me. You all are keeping me so motivated. I have a long way to go, but as a sweet lady reminded me this morning, look at how far I have come. :) Weigh in tomorrow!! :)

Back in the Routine/Recipes

Well, we are finally getting back to the school routine. I am finally getting adjusted to getting up early again. Dieting is easier for me when I stay busy, and I have been very busy this week. I am hoping for another big number on the scales Monday. :) Today, I have already walked and climbed the stairs at the football field twice. I have a problem.....I am kind of getting tired of eating the same old diet food every day. So, I was walking last night with a friend and we were discussing food that I could eat and stay in my calorie range every day. I am trying to stay around 1,100 to 1,200 calories a day. She gave me a few good recipes that I am going to try, and I thought I would ask my readers for some good diet recipes I can try. I am looking for snack and meal ideas. I have always been a picky eater, but I am planning to start trying more things. You can leave your recipes as a comment here on the blog, on facebook, or just tell me when you see me. Thanks in advance for the help. :)

Back to School -2 lbs

I hope everyone had a good morning getting their kiddos back to school. My kids were excited to start the new year. Brennen doesn't start kindergarten until Wednesday. Then all my babies will be in school. I will be subbing this year since there are no teaching jobs around here. Hopefully, I will be in my own classroom this time next year.  After Brennen and I dropped Brayden and Brodie off at school we went and walked a mile at the football field. I didn't get to power walk since Brennen wanted to hold my hand the whole way, but that was okay with me. :) He can be such a sweetie when he wants to be. While we were walking he said, "Mommy, I wish you were little so I could marry you". Awwww!!! I love my boys. Oh, and good news..... I got back off the 2 pounds I put back on at the beach. YAY!!! I will get back to my normal weigh-ins next Monday.

Bye Bye Beach! Hello Diet!

I am back! I haven't gone MIA on you all. :) So, the beach was awesome!!! I really would love to own a beach house one day. I could lay out by the ocean all day. We had so much fun, even though I had a sick one almost the entire time. Unfortunately, I didn't stick to my diet like I had planned, and I put back on two pounds that I had lost. :( So it is right back to it today. I have already walked for an hour and climbed the steps at the football field. The picture to the right is me at the beach. Next year, I will post a pic of me at the beach in a swim suit and I will be looking fabulous. :) My long term goal right now is to be in a size 10 by Christmas. My short term goal is to just get back in the ONEderfuls soon! Thanks again for reading and cheering me on!!!

Football and Sickness

Well, I haven't posted in a few days. Been pretty busy. Football practice has started and the stomach virus has invaded the Montgomery house. So far only Brodie has been sick. Crossing my fingers no one else gets it. I have been a little down this week, because the scales are not moving like I want them too. I am not giving up though. I haven't been able to walk as much as I was because of practice. I didn't get to walk at all one day because Brodie was so sick. :( I have got to start making the time for exercise. I have a walking DVD so I really don't have an excuse for not walking. We are leaving for the beach Monday and I am little worried about the diet. Hopefully Tammy and Jessica will keep me in line. :)
