It is so easy to get off track while dieting. One bad diet day leads to two, then three. Before you know it a week has gone by and you realize you have lost 7 days of opportunity to get off some more weight. Then you get SO disappointed in yourself. At least that is how it goes for me. That is exactly what happened to me this past week. I didn't completely blow my diet, I just didn't really try to lose either. To me that was a wasted week! When you get off track, you can make one of two choices: GIVE UP or START BACK WITH A VENGENCE!!! Being this close to my goal weight, it would be so stupid of me to give up now. I have worked so hard to get this far. Giving up is not an option. So that leaves choice number two, START BACK WITH A VENGENCE!!! Which is what I intend to do. So here are a few new things I am going to start doing...
1. Keep a food journal. (No, I haven't been doing this.)
I know how important this is while dieting. I am surprised I have done so well without this, but now I am going to start.
2. Drink Water! (No, I have not been doing this either!)
Again, I know how important this is not just while dieting, but all the time. I just am not a water drinker, except while exercising. Now is the time to start!
3. Stop eating past 5 o'clock. (I have done this!)
I have always done well when I stick to this rule, but I haven't been doing it lately. It is time to start back.
